Jahsmin Daley, from Gospel to Reggae, representing with a message and soul stirring vocals to unify. Jahsmin recently released her long anticipated Reggae Single in January 2015, entitled "Contract," produced by Mountain Edge Music Productions (MEMP). A song which echoes the call for fairness is said to speak to the truth, and awaken the conscience to inspire those who will hear to walk in a higher state of conscious reasoning in the practice of brotherly and sisterly love. "Contract" is laden with the message conveyed by Bob Marley in his prophetic song lyrics "who the cap fits, let them wear it."
Since her release of her previous single "Chasing Rainbows," released in 2013, also produced by MEMP, on a riddim’ inspired by Bob Marley’s "Babylon System,” music lovers and supporters have been inspired to greater conscious awakening, ignited by her soulful voice and powerful lyrical content. In 2014, Jahsmin had the opportunity of working alongside one of her favored inspirational Reggae Artists, the Legendary Queen of Reggae Marcia Griffiths, on a Tribute Showcase for her at Toronto, Harbor Front West Jet Stage.

Jahsmin’s musical influences are from multiple foundation artists within varying genres, such as Mahalia Jackson, Anita Baker, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Tony Rebel, Bob Marley, Marcia Griffiths, Luciano The MessenJah, and Lauryn Hill, just to name a few. Jahsmin Daley has multiple nominations and awards to her name such as ‘Top Female Vocalist’2013 and ‘Top Female Recording Vocalist2014’. Jahsmin has also accomplished two albums, ‘Beauty Never Fades Inside’ released in 2008 produced by 5 Rivers Ent., and ‘Jahsmin Daley Reggae Classics’ released in 2012 produced by MEMP. Jahsmin is one of the original 'Daley Sisters', a gospel singing group which consisted of herself and her three sisters'. The group was formed and managed by her father Amos 'Pastor Daley' who played the organ. The group would perform at church functions, concerts, fundraisers and occasionally her two brothers' joined in, her youngest brother playing the drums. With a love for music her interest in poetry was discovered while attending high school. The ease of expression she found in this writing, enlightened by the power of words and endless possibilities to the expression of feelings, emotions, and experiences. Jahsmin is currently working in studio to complete her third album.
